@ian38018@lynn200 I was joking!!! Oh and Lynn Joshua Petker is the name of the artist who did my background.
Ian - Absolutely! I can't stop listening to it!!!!
I went to see him once with a boyfriend many years ago who was wild about him, and I recall that the gig went on forever and Van Morrison kept on coming back for encore after encore. How dull I found it. It wasn't until some years later that I realised I'd been the dull one in not appreciating his music and his generous performance.
@AlicejustMay Lucky you! I would have loved to have seen him many decades ago at his prime...I wouldn't go now...Is that awful of me!??!
That was generous of him! As I have heard he can be quite moody! Sometimes less is more...but I love his work - I know he constantly chases the big WAVE but why not!!!
Did he deliver this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44wDwMQVqCc
@corcorankelly No, it's not awful of you! There are artists I revered who I can't imagine going to see now because I wouldn't want to diminish the memory of them at their best. And yes, I do remember he sang this. And if I had my time against and know what I know now, I'd be there in a flash. Youth - wasted on the young sometimes, eh?
Lake District! In England on Scottish border. Small area of small hills with mountainous character and lakes - of course. Very beautiful. Great for outdoor activities and relawing. Good beer and food. Its where Wordsworth and Coleridge wrote some of their best poetry. Come!
