I actually wanted to post the French version, but couldn't find it anywhere. Le sigh.

I bought the 12" specifically for the French version. Does this link work http://youtu.be/HE_kMqeBHbc

@DavidShepherd Blocked for me. Bah! I too bought the 12" on the strength of that version. Her French is far from perfect, but her delivery is... compelling.

Our son was born in September 2013, and I remember thinking that Arcade Fire's Reflektor will be to him what Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures (or, having lookied it up, Blondie's Eat to the Beat) are to me, more or less - certainly chronologically speaking, at any rate.

@turnerjamese Born under the sign of Arcade Fire, eh? Very auspicious.

@crawtonleek Indeed, and the new Arctic Monkeys album...I just had a look at the Number Ones from 1979 (my birth year) - I like so many of them. It's cool to think that those were all new hits, playing on radios in shops and cars whilst I was being carried around by my parents.

I was also a blondie child. Tide is high was number one when I was born, right between barbara streisand and abba (woman in love and super trooper) no wonder I am so tenacious.
