@fsohail Cameron Crowe seems to always chose the right music to augment the story in his films. One of my favorite examples is the tour bus scene in Almost Famous when the characters sing along to Elton Johns' "Tiny Dancer".
Yes, he does get that right—one of his passions. Almost Famous is excellent, I have the Bootleg Cut of that with the extra audio disc. About time I gave it another watch actually!
@Catherine I heard a story that you might enjoy. 1969-Zep is in LA on their 2nd US tour. A mutual friend of Plant and David Crosby asks Percy if he would like to meet CSN. Of course he says yes, so they all take mescaline( it is the Sixties, after all) and proceed to get completely lost. CSN was rehearsing at the Greek Theater in Hollywood, but Plant and his "guide" end up in Watts-30 miles away. Our tale ends with Plant hanging out of the window yelling"Where's the Greek?" at random passersby!
@curtywyshart it's a great story ;-) thank you! gotta love the sixties - sex, drugs and rock'n'roll EVERYWHERE. In Percy's case all combined in one person :-)
