He's right y'know...my mother wouldn't have liked it. I do though and I shall overindulge in this, as the day progresses. Incidentally, has anyone ever thought about all that dosh Planty earned and he could never get a shirt to fit him...thought not... top Jam, Curtsta'...

@21schizoid It's true.Plant never seemed to be able to find a decent fitting pair of trousers. He always looked as if he'd stolen a young groupies' size 2 denims.

Used to wear mine like that too, 'til I started sounding like Jon Anderson...actually, it may be something to do with those extended ooohs and aaahs, beloved of the Plantmeister...

I remember this pretty well, as I was there. 24 May was the Saturday, and I know it was the Saturday I went, because the streets were full of disconsolate Scottish footballers whose side had been (improbably) beaten 5-1 that afternoon by England.

Actually the streets were full of Scottish supporters, and not, at least not as far as I know, the footballers themselves......

@obadiah99 Wow! That's awesome. I saw the LA Forum shows in 1977, but Earls Court - that's the holy grail.

@curtywyshart guitar and drums in Kashmir do weird things to me. Make me wanna pack 2 t-shirts and hitch a ride to some unknown destination.
