@shiningsun2k Yeah definitely, give it a go! I wouldn't say that I have 'a lot' of her music... but what I do have, I have enjoyed immensely and the play-counts on my iTunes library speak for themselves! This track is from her newest album and is relatively new to me too.

@kelliebrazier Thanks! I booked online the second the tickets became available so was able to snap up the best seats in the house. It's a smallish venue as well so should be good!
@guyhamilton552 I've read that throughout her career she's suffered with episodes of intense stage fright and alcoholism... but then again what artist hasn't at some point along the way? I see her as a very deep-thinking songwriter and an extremely talented musician.
I'm going to have to check it out. And it turns out I was mistaken -- I didn't inherit an album, but rather just the single for "The Greatest", which is quite lovely.

@shiningsun2k Yes it is isn't it! That song was in fact my first introduction to Cat Power. She featured on a Jools Holland music DVD that I bought which had full orchestral backing. From that point forward I was sold! :-)
@guyhamilton552 It was quite different to what I was expecting in terms of the complete set list and the annoying lighting I must confess... but apart from that the sound was amazing! Just secretly wished she'd thrown in even just a couple of her older well-known songs and come back for an encore but unfortunately neither of things happened. One review here for anyone interested
