yes @thisismymistake she sang backing vocals on "Freely" from Devendra Banhart's Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon according to Wikipedia (not heard it myself) He was also instrumental in the resurgence of interest in Vashti Bunyan and Bert Jansch.
my first encounter was about a month ago due to a Julia Holter retweet of Linda announcing the studio work was done. I owe quite a few discoveries to 140 characters from Holter.
