“This is just nuts. They are all very young but the music is very mature. It is so hard not to speed up for one thing. It is a weird construct - the guitar solo is as far from shredding as you can get, but it's so powerful & emotional. The guitar vibrato is echo'd by Andy's bass - & this track has a sort-of bass solo section too. It's fantastically realised - minimalist, controlled, relentless - yet charged with emotion & feeling. Each part - vocals, drums, guitar and bass interact, support, enhance & created a thing bigger than the sum of the parts. This is really original style music, & like nothing else at the time. It's not over egged with twiddly show-offyness, yet it is for listening rather than dancing. A true track of sublime quality. Please enjoy.”

RIP Andy Fraser. Despite what you might have heard on radio and TV today Free made lots of great records apart from "All right now". This is one of them.

Paul Rodgers is my favourite blues/rock singer. And Koss just makes the Les Paul cry. Backed by the brilliant Andy Fraser on bass & Simon Kirke on drums.
How I wish I could have seen them live. Just awesome.
