I am totally wedded to the principal of #fffunkyfffriday It's just that I can't work a Jam into my hectic schedule of well, other things. I heard this absolute belter on Friday last week, on the way home from a hefty session of well, other things. One aspect of getting a tad older I kinda' resent, is the fact I don't get out to play the way I used to. Work finished on a Friday. Home for a quick dinner. A thorough wash of the important regions, splash of Hai Karate, best bib & tucker, before an endeavour to charm the laydeez, or if all else failed, many too many beers, a curry & a miraculous reappearance at home, without even so much as a shoe compass to get me there. Yoof culture. Anyhoo, the preamble would always involve getting fired up with an appropriate disco vibe & this track would most certainly have done the trick. So with a moistness of the eyes & a lilt in my kilt, I drift back to the glory weekends of wine, women & song. Worse still, I've just realised, it's only Tuesday...
