I know, I know, @Niels_Footman; I'm in the minority here. But I just don't 'get' him. 'I Just Called to Say I Love You', for instance, makes me feel quite physically sick. Plus it didn't help that as a student I shared a house with someone who played Songs in the Key of Life incessantly, and forevermore I shall associate that album with the remains of the peanut butter, coleslaw and banana sandwiches that he loved and which he'd tuck down the side of the settee to save for later.
good heavens, @AlicejustMay, no one is defending that 80s monstrosity! But I'd be hard pushed to name a 60s or 70s superstar who got through the 80s without embarrassing themselves. As for Songs in the Key of Life, I suspect few albums could survive unfortunate memories like those
