@lynn200, in response to your last post, which was sent to my email but doesn't appear here even though it was a few hours ago, yes our time zones are almost opposite. here it's 10:25 pm & 12:25pm there. & the disagreeable relates to what Sid said about someone possibly blocking jams which to me smacks of political maneuvering & sucks! maybe my phrasing is confusing, but you won't catch me posting personal insults here..this is about loving music & hopefully like minded people such as you...
i give my comm time,then deleted it...that way it only gets to you.i explain--different countries get blocked,its normally EMI,or the video owner..happens all the time.many times i cant open a jam 'cos its blocked,what we do is ...go to you tube,play it ,give the like/not,but tell the jammer...i like to think thats what happened....i'm sure it is......what i meant was in my last comm to you is,hate people coming on and saying...''i prefer this version..http/...i always tell them to go jam it :)
@lynn200, just had 2 different posts disappear on me..one more time...i watched the P.Bowles narration & pointed out that i thought the one at the end of the movie was very deep & well said, remember it?..& i watched Etta&Dr.J.;& the way she snuggled her nose into his neck while singing was so genuinely sexy..loved it...thanks, i thought i had heard it, but when i saw it was a video i realized i hadn't...
but if that's the better way, why even start? i read & still have the book..the whole expats from all over thing going on in Morocco back then around Tangiers was compelling.. got my comments? how? they're weren't posted...things pop up at the strangest times..i need to think about this!
