disastrid’s first jam of 2014 was “PG” by Saul Williams. In January, disastrid found it, their eternal jam: “Crimson and Clover” by Tommy James & The Shondells. The year’s recurring themes? The Magnetic Fields, Canadian music, and singer-songwriters. “Strawberry Fields Forever” by The Beatles got a lot of love. 2014 drew to a close with “Everything Is One Big Christmas Tree” by The Magnetic Fields.

In February, disastrid joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Having An Average Weekend” by Shadowy Men On A Shadowy Planet. Nice. Plenty of The National, alt rock, and 80s. People really liked “She Bangs the Drums” by The Stone Roses. disastrid posted their 100th jam in September! “Delicious” by Catherine Wheel closed out the year.
