2015

djfractal’s first jam of 2015 was “(Nothing But) Flowers” by Talking Heads. 9 more jams followed it! Lots of blues, jazz, and avant garde. djfractal did some crate-digging too, and found “Martha (Live, 1974)” by Tom Waits. djfractal’s final jam was none other than “Eyes on the Prize” by Julia Easterlin.

2014

djfractal’s year started strong with “Shiver Me Timbers” by Tom Waits, and 27 more jams followed. There was a lot of electronic, hip hop, and Canadian music. djfractal did some crate-digging too, and found “Miroirs” by Maurice Ravel. “Girlfriend Is Better (Live)” by Talking Heads got a lot of love. djfractal’s 2014 came to a close with “Army” by Ben Folds Five.

2013

djfractal’s first jam of 2013 was “House of Cards” by Radiohead, and 60 more jams followed. There was a lot of The Beatles, classic rock, and funk. They were the first, and only, to post “This Land is Your Land” by Michael Mitchell. “Numb” by Andy Stott got a lot of love. djfractal was first to pick “Renata” by Holden, in June — 25 others followed suit! djfractal crossed 100 jams in December! djfractal’s 2013 came to a close with “To Be In Love” by Masters at Work.

2012

The year got going with “Lyric Suite” by Alban Berg, and there was more to come; 38 jams in all. Plenty of Julia Easterlin, jazz, and electronica. People really liked “Fight The Power” by Public Enemy. In March, djfractal posted their 20th jam. 2012 drew to a close with “Eyes on the Prize” by Julia Easterlin.

In September, djfractal joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Afrika Starr” by Deadboy. Nice. The year’s recurring themes? electronic, grime, and dubstep. djfractal was first to pick “Natalia's Song” by Zomby, in October — 26 others followed suit! “Call Your Girlfriends” by Robyn closed out the year.
