The year got going with “Pay For It (Feat. Kendrick Lamar)” by Jay Rock, and there was more to come; 49 jams in all. Plenty of Kendrick Lamar, shoegaze, and rap. djperry1973 did some crate-digging too, and found “Love, Texas” by Marriages. People really liked “Playground Twist” by Siouxsie and the Banshees. djperry1973’s final jam was “Sometimes it Snows in April” by Prince.

djperry1973’s first jam of 2014 was “Iamundernodisguise” by School of Seven Bells, and 58 more jams followed. The year’s recurring themes? soul, electronic, and pop. They were the first, and only, to post “At A Time” by Breakaway. “Bury Me” by The Smashing Pumpkins got a lot of love. djperry1973 was first to pick “The Riverbed” by Owen Pallett, in February — 31 others followed suit! djperry1973 posted their 100th jam in June! 2014 drew to a close with “Handel: Messiah / Part 1 - "For behold, darkness shall cover the earth...The people that walked in darkness"” by Georg Friedrich Händel.

The year got going with “Plutonic” by Bizarre Inc., and 65 more jams followed. Plenty of M.I.A., electronica, and pop. They were the first, and only, to post “Panic (Hang The DJ)” by Tiffany. People really liked “Black Metallic” by Catherine Wheel. djperry1973 was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Bring The Noize” by M.I.A. — before 108 others! djperry1973 passed 50 jams in September. “Hey Now” by London Grammar closed out the year.
