







docnicholas’s 2013 started strong with “Nights In White Satin” by The Moody Blues, and there was more to come; 25 jams in all. The year’s recurring themes? blues, singer-songwriters, and folk. docnicholas did some crate-digging too, and found “Slippin' In” by Buddy Guy. docnicholas reached 20 jams in January. 2013 drew to a close with “New Delhi Freight Train (Live)” by Little Feat.

In May, docnicholas joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Blue Skies” by Ella Fitzgerald. Nice. There was a lot of jazz, soul, and classic rock. docnicholas posted a rare gem: “No More Trouble” by Buddy Guy & Junior Wells. People really liked “Whats So Funny About Peace Love & Understanding” by Nick Lowe. docnicholas was first to pick “Gimmie Shelter” by Patti Smith, in May — 10 others followed suit! “my children, be joyful” by Rock Plaza Central closed out the year.
