“Call The Police” by Oblivians kicked off drakeygirl’s 2014. 6 more jams followed it! They were the first, and only, to post “The Memory Of A Wife” by Millie Jackson. drakeygirl reached 50 jams in May. drakeygirl’s 2014 came to a close with “Trouble With Dreams” by Eels.

2013

The year got going with “I Gotta Get Shorty Out Of Jail” by Andre Williams & The Sadies, and there was more to come; 23 jams in all. Plenty of soul, indie rock, and rhythm and blues. drakeygirl did some crate-digging too, and found “Easy Money” by Dee Dee Sharp Gamble. People really liked “Tempted” by Squeeze. “She Watch Channel Zero” by Joan as Police Woman closed out the year.

In June, drakeygirl joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Cissy Strut” by The Meters. Nice. Lots of singer-songwriters, british, and folk. drakeygirl posted a rare gem: “Claim Jumpin'” by Sam Dees. “Rescue Me” by Fontella Bass got a lot of love. In November, drakeygirl posted their 20th jam.
