@simonp Just finished it last Sunday. It was great. We mainly visited eastern parts of France this time. Drome Provencale, Verdon, Cote d'Azur, Jura. We thought we were lucky because the places we stayed now have temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius, only to find ourselves in a Dutch heatwave. Last night was the warmest night ever recorded, with temperatures around 24 degrees. And, living in the center of Amsterdam, you can add another few degrees due to inner city factors.
@kbautista@kbautista I'm pretty sure they'll be playing a lot of the older songs in September! And, change is not a bad thing as such. On its own merit I love this song and I'm eagerly awaiting the album. Take Mumford and Sons for instance; they changed their style completely and still managed to come up with something that, for me personally, gave me instant satisfaction.
I'm so envious mate. The old Melkweg, brings back fond memories. Glad to hear it's still going strong. :) @simonp We hit 35c here in the south of England yesterday! Phewww.
@Phyl@simonp It was nearly 40 yesterday for @MyBlueElephant yesterday. And on top of all accumulation here in Holland we will probably hit that high on Saturday. I thought I'd head to Utrecht for the start of the Tour de France, but I think I will watch it on the telly with a well stocked fridge and the ceiling ventilators at full speed. (unfortunately I don't have air-conditioning in my appartment)
@dutchbeeblebrox Oh! Hope you were there : i don't like the Tour de France on TV but I really love to be in a city where it begins, ends or just passes cause it's just a wonderful party, people are always friendly... The atmosphere 's just so great :D Love it !
@MyBlueElephant Due to my broken finger I didn't have a choice but to watch it on the telly. I still loved it though, with Facebook friends who were there supplying me with pictures and video's. :)

@simonp Sleeping under a flat roof doesn't help either I can tell you

sounds like a great trip. Here in Scotland, our highs have peaked at 24 so we're not complaining much...
