That's more in the style of Carlos Santana. Who also recorded this. (Pedant Note.)
@leejohnson That's what I thought! :) Yet what remains is that they're a damned fine bunch of musicians. BTW, their own material isn't bad either. https://youtu.be/Oddr4WKYkFk
I strive to reach their level of coolness
@aberrantanna Well said! :)
Nice. This is really close to Fleetwood Mac/Peter Green's original - however the guitarist has rocked it as the lead - in, with the signature solo, and the whole thing has a modern dance groove and the vocalist is very smooth like Mac. They didn't try to recreate Santana's brilliant jazz/latin vibe or subtle guitar work. It is just to-the-wall rocking and it is great! Love this tons! Let me know if they want to break the US some day ;) I know a great female manager looking for a client.
@pippamiddleton Apart from their own work which is getting better and better, they have another party piece beside this particular jam. From 2012, live, this is https://youtu.be/gO-1gVUoInA
The song that started it all off with me all these years ago is this one: https://youtu.be/CPTVbWvW240
Oh geeze yeah, I've heard this! Amy has a great rock voice, and she's learned, I think, how not to ruin her voice singing like that. There is a softness in it from keeping it chill even with high power. Force of nature.
Thank you for sharing Stonefield all the way back, it's one of my favorite TIMJ-fueled musical discoveries :)
@malevolosidade We aim to please. LOL
Great take on a classic Peter Green blues.
Good one. Thank you.
Thanks for jamming with me
Loved it, thanks for your comment on my jam.
Never heard of them, but I love them already.
