This jam is how I learned of Jon Lord's passing. I always liked the classical sensibility he brought to Deep Purple and I often listened to the "serious" music he composed after leaving the band, particularly "To Notice Such Things" with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. Thank you, Jon, for all the music.
What is it about rock drummers that they can't leave their cymbals alone during quiet bits? Be quiet Iain - just for 1 minute.
Amazing keys player - huge presence. Great tribute. RIP Jon.

He's left us plenty of great music. Gone but never forgotten.

Not a shallow talent. So he will be missed, alongside the more shallow talents of the modern day.
