elmahka’s first jam of 2013 was “Blue Ice” by Shout Out Louds, and there was more to come; 26 jams in all. It was a year of instrumental, pop, and classical. They were the first, and only, to post “Overture / And All That Jazz” by Chicago Soundtrack. “Autumn Leaves” by Miles Davis got a lot of love. elmahka posted their 75th jam in March! “Living In Danger” by Ace of Base closed out the year.

elmahka’s first jam of 2012 was “Thief” by The Wedding Soundtrack, and 51 more jams followed. The year’s recurring themes? Kate Bush, 80s, and folk. elmahka did some crate-digging too, and found “Adithaim” by The Cracow Klezmer Band. People really liked “Who” by David Byrne & St. Vincent. elmahka was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “81” by Joanna Newsom — before 25 others! elmahka reached 50 jams in August. “The Operation” by Charlotte Gainsbourg closed out the year.
