The year got going with “Unfinished Sympathy” by Massive Attack, and there was more to come; 15 jams in all. It was a year of 70s, reggae, and electronic. People really liked “Flashlight” by Parliament Funkadelic. emmaword was first to pick “Reservoir” by Metronomy, in March — 31 others followed suit! “Kiss Me Again” by The Drums closed out the year.

In August, emmaword joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Uptown Top Ranking” by Althea & Donna. Nice. There was a lot of pop, funk, and soul. “My Old Piano” by Diana Ross got a lot of love. emmaword crossed 20 jams in October! “They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard” by Erwin Beekveld closed out the year.
