There were a whole bunch of similar acts in the mid to late 90s.... Olive wasn't particularly groundbreaking, but this was a big record..
I mostly like this remix because it's a very rare D&B/Trance crossover record... those are two genres that you rarely see mixed in a DJ set, let alone the same song..
I actually met John B at a gig of his in DC a few months before he made that mix-- I was a trance DJ at the time, and we had a nice convo about how dry and unemotional so much D&B was and how I liked his stuff even though I normally didn't like D&B, etc...
