I completely agree and 'Showbiz' is still one of my all time favorite albums. I still clearly remember when I saw the "Muscle Museum" promotional CD single at a local CD and record show back in '99 and bought it for no other reason than the name intrigued me and it was only $1. Been a huge fan ever since. Still crazy to think Matt Bellamy wasn't always the lead vocalist and only added vocals to his lead guitar duties after the original vocalist left. Makes me wonder how the old one sounded...
Suede had amazing B-sides, often better than the A-sides too, around the same period. Sci-Fi Lullabies, their B-sides compilation, has a strong case for being their best album...
@shiningsun2k good fact! I did not know that. The only interesting Muse fact I can contribute is that Chris Martin said Matt Bellamy was the "Michael Schumacher of piano".
@thesunneversets I actually had never heard that. I will deffo check out that album. Thanks! Personally, my fave Suede album is Head Music, but I feel like I'm in a minority.
That's awesome. I didn't know he was a piano prodigy as well. Did you see the video of the performance where they switched instruments because they Italian TV program they were guests on wanted them to lip sync and they didn't like it. And the host didn't even notice. Pretty funny stuff. http://youtu.be/sSMzvPwxs8M
