It's so good to see Killer Mike finally getting the attention he deserves, more than a decade after he came on the scene. Except now it's the concerts are bigger and not as easy to get into. He and El-P are perfect for each other though and their lyrics are always strong. :)
Yeah, RTJ really took off and only got better with RTJ 2. Both albums are great and Killer Mike definitely took it to a new level when he first teamed up with El-P for his R.A.P. Music album (it was produced by El-P, but doesn't feature as much of El-P's rapping), but he first started showing up with Outkast after they signed him to their Aquemini label back in '01 or '02, and appeared on a couple of their hits from back then: https://youtu.be/So-LODMFcq0. And https://youtu.be/udmTfK6_aM8.

@shiningsun2k I'd heard of El-P before, but not Killer Mike or Run the Jewels until everyone started posting tracks from RTJ2 on here...
