Music for the Masses might be my favorite Depeche Mode album. By happenstance (or not), it was produced by Dave Bascombe who also produced It's Immaterial's first album (see @shme's jam).
@thisismymistake only yesterday I pondered the question - which is the best album between Violator and Music for the Masses? Slightly tilted towards the latter. But it's a tough choice! DM have so many good albums....

@bbionic @shiningsun2k I had that CD! Clearly that song didn't make an impact on me at the time. Loved SOAD's cover of Metro though...
