Ros Sereysothea was a Cambodian singer active in the late 60s and early 70s, best remembered for her romantic ballads (which are also beautiful, even if I have no idea how they translate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kw3LeQK938M). The 1970s brought Western music from American military stations in South Vietnam to Cambodia, and Sereysothea began to experiment with psychedelic, garage rock tones thereafter.
Though no one knows for certain what happened to her after the fall of Phnom Penh in 1977, Sereysothea was liked killed by the Khmer Rouge regime.
'Chnam Oun Dop-Pram Muy' translates to "I'm 16."
