People really liked “Shake Your Moneymaker” by Elmore James. “Miracle Temple Holiness” by Mount Moriah closed out the year.

franzferdinand2’s first jam of 2013 was “Auld Lang Syne” by BBC Symphony & Chorus, and there was more to come; 53 jams in all. The year’s recurring themes? Dan Reeder, country, and rap. franzferdinand2 found a rare one: “Stackolee” by Woody Guthrie. People really liked “Sledgehammer” by Peter Gabriel. franzferdinand2’s 2013 came to a close with “Christmas In The Trenches” by John McCutcheon.

franzferdinand2’s 2012 started strong with “Do-Wah-Doo” by Kate Nash, and there was more to come; 103 jams in all. There was a lot of Mos Def, classic rock, and folk. franzferdinand2 did some crate-digging too, and found “Goldfinger Theme” by John Barry and Shirley Bassey. “Jimmy Jazz” by The Clash got a lot of love. franzferdinand2 was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Wise Up” by Aimee Mann — before 52 others! franzferdinand2 reached 100 jams in October. 2012 drew to a close with “Silent Night” by The Temptations.
