









freakanth’s 2015 started strong with “The Robots” by Kraftwerk, and 33 more jams followed. The year’s recurring themes? jazz, prog rock, and classic rock. They were the first, and only, to post “Halcyon Days” by Disappears. “Sunday Morning” by The Velvet Underground got a lot of love. All things must end; freakanth closed it out with “Blood Rush” by Bark Psychosis.

The year got going with “You Know, You Know” by Mahavishnu Orchestra, and there was more to come; 55 jams in all. The year’s recurring themes? doom metal, jazz, and instrumental. freakanth did some crate-digging too, and found “Drop” by Soft Machine. People really liked “Roundabout” by Yes. In June, freakanth posted their 100th jam.

It was a year of Ephel Duath, avant garde, and psychedelic. freakanth found a rare one: “Ganbou-Ki” by Boris. People really liked “Goodbye Pork Pie Hat” by Charles Mingus. In August, freakanth posted their 50th jam. “Annihilation I” by Dysrhythmia closed out the year.
