2015

fredmcintyre’s first jam of 2015 was “Otitis” by Mourn, and 27 more jams followed. It was a year of indie rock, singer-songwriters, and garage rock. fredmcintyre did some crate-digging too, and found “Over the rainbow” by Rico Rodriguez. “Frontwards” by Pavement got a lot of love. All things must end; fredmcintyre closed it out with “Strangers (The Kinks cover)” by Wye Oak.

2014

The year got going with “Animal (Mark Ronson mix)” by Miike Snow, and 53 more jams followed. There was a lot of rap, pop, and indie rock. fredmcintyre did some crate-digging too, and found “Soul Sitar” by Sohail Rana. “Do You Realize??” by The Flaming Lips got a lot of love. fredmcintyre reached 100 jams in March. 2014 drew to a close with “Kansas City” by The New Basement Tapes.

2013

fredmcintyre’s year started strong with “Hendrix Buried In Tacoma” by Shockabilly, and the jams kept coming; 30 in total. There was a lot of electronic, indie rock, and French music. They were the first, and only, to post “His Old Look” by Bongwater. People really liked “Bonnie And Clyde” by Serge Gainsbourg & Brigitte Bardot. In October, fredmcintyre posted their 75th jam. 2013 drew to a close with “Holiday Innn” by Stereo Total.

2012

In January, fredmcintyre joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Corduroy” by The Wedding Present. Nice. In February, fredmcintyre found it, their eternal jam: “Strangers” by The Kinks. The year’s recurring themes? indie rock, funk, and folk. They were the first, and only, to post “Gimi A Little Break” by Love. “One Nation Under A Groove” by Funkadelic got a lot of love. In March, fredmcintyre introduced This Is My Jam to “Let Them Talk” by Spoek Mathambo. fredmcintyre reached 50 jams in December. fredmcintyre’s 2012 came to a close with “Happy New Year” by Shockabilly.
