Yes, it's the score for the film, "Das Messer" ( "Spoon" on "Ege bamyasi" is the title track.) For this track, there were small pieces of score music that Irmin Schmidt decided to piece together for a suite. He thought it made more sense musically.
As far as I am aware, it only exists on the "Lost tapes" collection in this version presented here. I have been into Can for many years. I have about a dozen of their albums and I have seen them live twice but this is the limit of the knowledge I have on this track.

So this suite only exists as a sampler? Are there longer versions of the various parts?
