@corcorankelly the vid is crazy hilarious. Just tickled me this morning. Yes, too many great jams, and just so I don't obsess, I stick to one a week so it may be some time before I get through the 'must jam' list.
@corcorankelly the list is 'notional' but I ought to make a proper one but i just jam whatever's happening when my week is due unless I've a mission (like the covers I did for a few weeks).
@fsohail Must say the keyboard player had very similar hair and 'tache as mine back in the day. Sadly though, I didn't have his fashion style! Good Jam Faisal
@shirl not sure WHAT they are supposed to be actually, doubt they know either! I hate forgetting to Like a track as I often use the 'Play jams I like' option. @MsSue_ yeah I mean how can you not love Etta James. Oh hang on... *click*...♥ ...that's better ;D
@mikelowe fashion sense, phew! Happy hair memories!
@MsSue_ You lucky girl! but, I hope you're not accusing both @fsohail and myself of being MM's. Worryingly though, Faisal does still have the facial hair! I've had the same, what I like to call "shabby-chic" look for about the last 30 odd years :-)
@MsSue_ @mikelowe full disclosure, and if you happen upon a certain photo of me on these here internets...I have been know to don a medallion but it's always for fun...I'm a good sport (that's my story and I'm sticking with it!)
Fantastique! My memory isn't too hot these days, but I remember watching this video many years ago with its original song and reading that it was Norway's Eurovision entry sometime in the seventies(?)
@fsohail@dutchbeeblebrox Ahh, this from wikipedia: "He is best known as front man of Sir Henry and his Butlers and for numerous contributions to the Danish version of the Eurovision Song contest, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, which he won three times."

@fsohail okay, off topic. Just saw this article on The Civil Wars, we had talked about them before and I thought you might be interested http://www.npr.org/blogs/allsongs/2013/07/22/203716417/song-premiere-the-civil-wars-dust-to-dust-is-an-ode-to-the-end?sc=tw&cc=share

@corcorankelly @dutchbeeblebrox agreed, the slow motion part of the video had to be the best part for me, couldn't wipe the grin off my face.
fsohail
@christineb Just read that article thanks. Looking forward to te new album…couple of weeks left!

@fsohail That's pretty much what I do - jam on the moment - then regret not jamming something else then forget about it!
fsohail
@corcorankelly been there…would have jammed the new Placebo but Dutch sorted that for me ;D

@shme Eurovision...that explain a lot! The video certainly seems to have become a legend in its own right though, and deservedly so!
dutchbeeblebrox
@fsohail @shme The footage is Tommy Seebach (from Denmark) doing Apache. http://youtu.be/f6tnj7IEI0E
