“I have had this album for a while now, and yet every time this song came on, I skipped it. I love The Weight so much, as sung by The Band, that I wouldn't dare listen to another version, especially such a different version. And then this past week I was driving in my car and listening to this album (just to hear the Jack Johnson cut), when this song came on and I figured, oh what the heck, let's give it a go! I am so happy I did because I finally realized that this is a really neat take on a classic. As a side note, the instrumentals are fantastic and for at least three days the song has been on repeat!”
