2015

“Memorial” by Heaters kicked off gemma’s 2015, and the jams kept coming; 12 in total. Lots of electronic, hip hop, and psychedelic rock. They were the first, and only, to post “Motomia” by Kleintierschaukel. “State Trooper (Trentemøller Mix)” by Bruce Springsteen got a lot of love. gemma’s final jam was none other than “If My Baby” by Sea Lion.

The year got going with “Kampala Hustle” by ClassicBeatz, and 37 more jams followed. There was a lot of electronic, techno, and dubstep. They were the first, and only, to post “Ikeja Roads” by Afrobeat Makers. People really liked “Nigeria What?” by Débruit. gemma crossed 100 jams in October!

2013

gemma’s first jam of 2013 was “Suicide Herself” by Veiled. gemma found their eternal jam in November — “Jimi & Faye (Part One)” by Romare. It was a year of indie rock, post-rock, and house. gemma did some crate-digging too, and found “Deerland” by Pinkshinyultrablast. People really liked “Cirrus” by Bonobo. gemma reached 50 jams in August. gemma’s 2013 came to a close with “Holy Hole Inna Donut” by Kaytranada.

2012

gemma’s 2012 started strong with “Trenco una branca” by Anímic, and 16 more jams followed. There was a lot of indie rock, folk, and dance. They were the first, and only, to post “Workhorse” by Bonnie 'Prince' Billy. gemma crossed 20 jams in December! gemma’s 2012 came to a close with “Lilà” by Renaldo & Clara.
