georgethechen’s year started strong with “Rudi - A Message To You” by The Pogues + The Specials, and the jams kept coming; 35 in total. It was a year of punk, new wave, and post-punk. They were the first, and only, to post “Division” by Social Junk. “Bedroom Drum” by Amen Dunes got a lot of love. georgethechen crossed 75 jams in June! 2013 drew to a close with “Burn My Eye Episode 3” by Total Shutdown.

In February, georgethechen joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Up The Junction” by Squeeze. Nice. Plenty of indie rock, 80s, and punk. They were the first, and only, to post “4:15” by Bardo Pond + Tom Carter. “Save It For Later” by The English Beat got a lot of love. georgethechen was first to pick “Gun” by Uncle Tupelo, in February — 10 others followed suit! georgethechen crossed 50 jams in December! “Fuck, shit, horse piss, son of a two-balled bitch, motherfucker” by Snuff Box closed out the year.
