Amazing that Robin is the only one of the trio still alive. Jimmy Dewar had one of the all time great British voices and Reg Isidore was a powerhouse drummer. Great guitarist, great band, great song. Nuff said. Turn it up!   2

In my 20's, I went to a little Spanish town on the border with Portugal, for a holiday with some pals. Late at night, we found a wee open air bar, where, apart from making the best chips i've ever tasted (local cuisine..ahem) they played some fabulous late night/early morning rock. Ironically, this jaw-dropper from Mr Trower, didn't feature, but it should have. When the late, very great, soulful gravel voice of Jimmy Dewar comes in at 50secs, you should have goosebumps on your goosebumps. Happy times...magic...   6

Bridge of Sighs is a great bluesy tune!

One of my all-time-faves. This is a big sound for three people to make. This is a moody, sultry hot piece of music. It's like a musical sirocco. Dewar's manly worldly wise vocal, Trower's Hendrix flicks and sweeps, Reg Isidore's unobtrusive percussion - all blend to create a real atmosphere. For a rock blues based trio, this was a surprising yet brilliant new direction in the early #70s. Great times. Please enjoy.   4
