The year got going with “Silhouettes” by Viet Cong. And it all came to an end with hawkt’s final jam: “You're Gonna Cut Me Loose” by Hundred Visions.

2014

hawkt’s year started strong with “No Right Thing” by Blood Orange. 21 more jams followed it! Lots of lo-fi, indie rock, and shoegaze. hawkt was first to pick “Lonely Richard” by Amen Dunes, in June — 17 others followed suit! 2014 drew to a close with “Expensive Dog” by Total Control.

2013

The year got going with “Anyway” by A Giant Dog, and 69 more jams followed. It was a year of Angel Olsen, electronic, and folk. “Underdog” by The Dirtbombs got a lot of love. hawkt was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Thousand Year Old Child” by Pure X — before 12 others! hawkt posted their 100th jam in March! 2013 drew to a close with “Nantucket Island” by Willie Wright.

2012

hawkt’s year started strong with “Back To Your Heart” by Dinosaur Jr., and the jams kept coming; 69 in total. Plenty of indie pop, electronic, and indie rock. “Forget” by Lianne La Havas got a lot of love. In January, hawkt introduced This Is My Jam to “Hold On Tight” by Electric Light Orchestra. hawkt reached 75 jams in December. “Father to a Sister of Thought” by Pavement closed out the year.
