Originally from 1971 ish this song has remained a firm part of my favourites library to this day. For me an absolute Desert Island Disc, this version from a few years back adds a certain wistful edge as Ian Anderson is no longer the nutter on one leg he once pretended to be! A beautiful lyric and amazing melody and nearly 45 years old.....life is indeed a long song....
