New to me and I LOVE it! Gonna check out the rest of the album. I was reading their biography and they apparently decided to focus on their music when David Bowie emailed them to tell them how much en enjoyed their debut EP, after they'd also won a competition at SXSW. How cool is that? Anyway, I'm excited to hear more. Thanks for the intro!
@shiningsun2k Whaaaat?! That is SO cool -- yeah, if David Bowie emails you to tell you he digs your music, then yes -- you should probably keep doing it. lol. ;)
I mean, I GUESS that might motivate me to keep at it if I were in their shoes. ;) I've listened to most o the album now and like it a lot. I should have finished like half an hour ago, but I got hooked on the song "Crowd", and have had it on repeat for quite a while. I've been busy at work and sometimes I have to do that when something hits the spot just right. I'm sure to jam it soon as well. Anyway, thanks again.
@shiningsun2k I do the same thing in my office at work. And YES! I like "Crowd" a lot, too -- the other ones I like the most "Stockholm" and "Destroy" :D
Yep, at the time I first read this last night, "Destroy" and "Stockholm" were my next favorites, probably in that order. There's a music video for "Destroy" that features footage an an actor from Haven, a TV show I enjoy. I listened to the album again this morning and "Firestarters" became one of my favorites as well. :)
