One of the greatest DnB Lp's ever made. So bleak - 'Damn Son' by Trace and Nico is pick of the bunch for me, but every track is great. Love that whole era so much. Mad to think given the way the scene has gone the past few years, but at the time these tracks were even being dropped in the big commercial raves. Imagine that now! It would clear the floor in 3 seconds
I've got an amazing Radio 1 mix by Ed Rush and Trace that's mostly No U Turn tunes. Kicks off with this one as I recall, with that old Boymerang remix being the highlight for me. I used to rinse the hell out of that.

harry, i guess that's been the case with several kinds of dance music: there's a period when improbable seeming stuff is accepted without question, perhaps because innovations are coming so fast. then things ossify and horizons shrink back for some reason.
