I had the urge to listen to The Beatles again and side 2 of Abbey Road never ceases to amaze. This is the start of it but do your self a favour and listen to the whole thing, just gorgeous. #TheBeatles#AbbeyRoad#1
45 years ago (8/8/69) ... Still jamming classics with The Beatles, one of the most trenchant commentators on American Life and life in general. Particularly like the lyrics on this Lennon & McCartney tune ... 'Out of college, money spent/ See no future, pay no rent/ All the money's gone, nowhere to go/ Penny-jobber got the sack/ Monday morning, turning back/ Yellow lorry slow, nowhere to go/ But oh, that magic feeling/ Nowhere to go/ Oh, that magic feeling/ Nowhere to go
Nowhere to go/ Ah, ah, ah/ One sweet dream/ Pick up the bags and get in the limousine/ Soon we'll be away from here/ Step on the gas and wipe that tear away/ One sweet dream/ Came true today/ Came true today/ Came true today/ Yes it did/ One, two, three, four, five, six, seven
All good children go to heaven/ One, two, three, four, five, six, seven
All good children go to heaven/ One, two, three, four, five, six, seven
All good children go to heaven'

"Abbey Road" - released 26th September 1969. The first Beatles studio album I bought; a long time after the event (it's on CD!). The only Beatles I have on vinyl are the 2 compilations: '62-'66 and '67-'70.
