“I've already jammed this one, but it's just the right kind of day for this--low key, seemingly mellow and normal but with a subtle crackly sinister overcast and a feeling not everything is quite as standard as it seems (I woke up to strange buzzing from down the street that went on for hours, just low enough to drive you mad; the end of this week holds some definitive conclusions and possibility; my upstairs neighbor's been home all day for some strange reason; my hands smell like all sorts of exotic things from a bunch of tea blending I did in prep for Friday--bergamot oil, fig, saffron, lime, and blood oranges).”
