still kinda bums me out a bit that this record gets overlooked thanks to its showier infamous younger sibling. it's just as good in a totally different way (i believe the cliche music nerds banter on about has something to do with "songwriting vs. production" or some such). the truth is, it's the one i looped for 3 years straight in high school, more than loveless. you know--me and lyrics, or something.   1
