“friday, aka "dance dance in your underpants" lunch break day. talking about that lower dens with Bryce reminded me of electrelane, and this song in particular (even though it sounds nothing like the organ/synth-y stuff that is more lower dens-ish) as he put it on a mix tape for me well over a decade ago. the acoustic version floating on the youtubes is great too in a different way. just stumbled on the acoustic version of this on YT (! apparently they rarely unplug but they did for my introduction to them--thanks Bryce!--which just so happens to be one of my favorites) and got bummed all over again they broke up.
