@sisterj Haha, actually I love Chicago! I lived in Evanston for a few years. I was just quoting the first song on the album -- when Waits sings about moving to Chicago as a solution to all his problems. Then the album ends with this song, about shifting company as well as location. Didn't mean to sound sour about good ol' Chicago!
