I saw them live a few years ago and this song was the most impressive...it's a shame this video only plays part of the song; it has such a nice build-up and I like the end. Anyway, nice jam :)
Anzac is a big day here..many of your fellows around. a good friend of mine also, served until recently- not too well .a beautiful voice, very interesting. a first play..thx.
@lynn200 Had a quiet ANZAC Day Lynn, post dawn service. Not big on the parades these days. Too much jingoism and the constant reinvention of "the legend". What's important to me is phoning old army buddies and chatting to them. Can't do that once we are gone, and pub talk is just pub talk. It is good that an entirely new generation wish to recognise the supreme sacrifice made by forebears, but we need more to recognise the futility of war., but therein lies the dichotomy of eliminating despots.
my Aussie friend is on a big pension..he's only in his 30s..Timor/Iraq...the sweetest man,but huge anger issues...it damaged him. hates his country. he keeps in touch with his ol mates...i get his posts on FB ,he did a good one for Anzac Day.
@redheadx You are correct. This version is truncated. They had a really good video available two years ago, but sadly it is not to be found. One of my favourite "current" Melbourne bands. New album should be due for release soon. They have been working on new material for ages. @BladeRunner Thanks. Pleased you enjoyed it.
