j2daboy’s year started strong with “New Millenium Cyanide Christ” by Meshuggah, and the jams kept coming; 46 in total. There was a lot of Lamb of God, pop, and thrash metal. They were the first, and only, to post “Love Again (Akinyele Back)” by Run The Jewels. “The Magnificent 7” by Kamasi Washington got a lot of love. j2daboy posted their 300th jam in April! j2daboy marked the end with “Moonmen” by Jemaine Clement (feat. Fart and Morty).

2014

j2daboy’s 2014 started strong with “Pink Toes (feat. Jhene Aiko)” by Childish Gambino. 73 more jams followed it! The year’s recurring themes? BADBADNOTGOOD, rap, and alt rock. j2daboy found a rare one: “Eyeless (Live at WFF)” by Slipknot. People really liked “Seasons (Waiting On You) (Live on Late Show w/ David Letterman)” by Future Islands. j2daboy crossed 250 jams in August! j2daboy’s 2014 came to a close with “Skies” by Protest The Hero.

2013

The year got going with “You Ain't Alone” by Alabama Shakes, and 112 more jams followed. Lots of The Joy Formidable, indie rock, and hardcore. They were the first, and only, to post “Bricks & Mortar” by Cancer Bats. People really liked “Riders On The Storm” by The Doors. j2daboy was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “If You Have Ghosts (Roky Erickson Cover)” by Ghost — before 14 others! In December, j2daboy posted their 200th jam. 2013 drew to a close with “Spinning in Daffodils (Live @ BBC Radio 1)” by Them Crooked Vultures.

In March, j2daboy joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Perth” by Bon Iver. Nice. j2daboy found their eternal jam in March — “Goodbye / グッドバイ (with Toki Asako)” by toe. It was a year of The Joy Formidable, soul, and electronic. j2daboy was first to pick “Little Blimp” by The Joy Formidable, in December — 16 others followed suit! j2daboy passed 75 jams in November.
