I don't care about dope. it's about as interesting or amusing to me as a Cheech and Chong routine. Now, but what I do like is sublimely dopey pontification on the matter. Enter Phil Philips, "King of the World,"to set you scared straight. Thing is, Mr. Phillips unusual delivery, with it's pressured speech and odd histrionics,makes you wonder if Phil hadn't broken open a vintage Vicks nasal inhaler and sucked up the benzedrine soaked innards before he got to the recording studio. Something just ain't right. And exactly, who is/was Phil Philips, "King of the World? This fine chestnut has been on several ace psycho-delic compilations, and maybe you're already familiar with it, but if not... I hope you'll have visions of euphoria. Or Peoria.   10
