The year got going with “Strings of Life” by Rhythim Is Rhythim. In June, james found it, their eternal jam: “Good Life” by Inner City. The year’s recurring themes? house, 80s, and techno. james did some crate-digging too, and found “If I Ruled The World (feat. Lauryn Hill)” by Nas. “Everybody wants to rule the world” by Tears For Fears got a lot of love. james passed 100 jams in May.

james’s first jam of 2012 was “Careless Whisper” by George Michael, and the jams kept coming; 56 in total. The year’s recurring themes? 80s, pop, and electronic. james posted a rare gem: “New Beginning” by Bucks Fizz. “Last Christmas, Gangnam style” by Wham vs. PSY got a lot of love. james was first to pick “Dawn Chorus” by Boards Of Canada, in January — 21 others followed suit! james passed 50 jams in July. james’s 2012 came to a close with “The Man With the Red Face” by Laurent Garnier.

People really liked “Linus & Lucy” by Vince Guaraldi Trio. james was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Superstition (live on Sesame Street)” by Stevie Wonder — before 76 others! james’s 2011 came to a close with “Owner Of A Lonely Heart” by Yes.
