Plenty of Art Ensemble of Chicago, avant garde, and saxophone. jasonwryan posted a rare gem: “The Infinitive Flow” by Muhal Richard Abrams. “Tippi-Toes” by The Meters got a lot of love. In November, jasonwryan posted their 100th jam. “My Song” by Sonny Sharrock closed out the year.

In January, jasonwryan joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Who Does She Hope To Be?” by Sonny Sharrock. Nice. It was a year of Art Ensemble Of Chicago, funk, and avant garde jazz. jasonwryan found a rare one: “No Woman No Cry” by Art Ensemble of Chicago. People really liked “Yesternow” by Miles Davis. jasonwryan was first to pick “Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)” by Sly & The Family Stone, in February — 39 others followed suit! jasonwryan posted their 50th jam in November! jasonwryan’s 2012 came to a close with “There Is a Balm in Gilead” by Mahalia Jackson.
