It took me a bit, but I've come to favor the acoustic over the original. "The only thing I'll ever ask of you / You've got to promise not to stop when I say when" is one of my favorite lyrics from anything, ever.
I got hooked right away. It's a beautiful song and the acoustic really suits the lyrics better.
