What is this Celebration Day of which you speak? Enlighten me so that I may know its'true meaning!

Katie and I are twin sisters so I will answer because she is busy :) Zeppelin has announced that it will release the 2007 O2 concert on DVD, and it's coming to cinemas October 17th!

I'm going, though I was also lucky enough to be at the actual gig :)

@ZeppelinRule @curtywyshart Yes yes, thank-you Jessie. They announced it yesterday after a countdown on their Facebook page. @jamiecater Holy crap, didn't 20 million people go in the draw for tickets? You are so, so, so, so, so lucky. I will forever envy you. :(

If I can find a theater close to me, I'm definitely going to see it.

One of the best albums ever written - not a weak moment on it. Weird that they waited so long to release Celebration Day - I hope they did a proper, decent job with footage and sound and haven't released this ad hoc.

@jonnyneale5 All of their albums are flawless but they definitely started with a bang. From what I've seen, the trailer and such, the footage is pretty decent. Guess we'll have to wait and see until I can make any proper judgements. @Enish Wonderful, I hope you find one.

Hmm you could argue I through IV as flawless and I'd happily listen but thereafter I'd struggle to agree. Certainly "In Through the Outdoor" and "Presence" were anything but flawless - the former being downright ordinary. Still, Page was struggling with heroin addiction by then and had almost no hand in the writing. :0)

@jonnyneale5 Some were undoubtedly better than others. I mainly enjoy 'In Through the Outdoor' because it shows more of John Paul Jones' input. There's no doubt that their earlier work is much better, the band started to fall apart during the latter, especially with Jimmy's addiction. 'Physical Graffiti' and 'Houses of the Holy' are still brilliant though. Some of my favourite songs are off those albums.

Maybe once you have written "Stairway" and "Kashmir", you don't feela whole lotta pressure to write. Especially in the throes of addiction.

I was having an awful day. I found this song randomly and while taking some puffs of pipe tobacco and *BAM* ... bad day just mellowed out. Love this jam.

@dumdrum09 Glad I could help. @curtywyshart That's very true. They had reached their peak.
